Internship Experience

Studio XS | Bangalore, India

During my time as an intern at Studio XS, I gained hands-on experience that helped bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world practice. I was involved in various stages of the design process, from early concepts to detailed drawings which gave me a clearer understanding of how ideas take shape and evolve. Working closely with architects and fellow team members taught me the importance of communication, collaboration and staying adaptable under pressure. I also took part in site visits, where I learned how design decisions play out in real-world conditions and how to observe and engage with context, materials and construction techniques. Along the way, I sharpened my skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite. The fast-paced studio environment encouraged constant learning, creative thinking and staying current with design trends. Beyond technical skills I learned how to manage time, take feedback constructively and contribute meaningfully to the team.
